Project Description
This is an example of our providing a full design for a new build property, starting from scratch with initial layouts and plans for planning permission, then developing these into a detailed design including electrical and lighting layouts, designs for the kitchen and bathrooms, specification of external build materials and all internal fittings and finishes.
The design brief for this new build property was to make best use of the sloping plot of land and far reaching views.
The front elevation was designed to reflect the traditional style of the neighbouring houses, so as to comply to planning constraints, but with the addition of fully glazed front section to create a contemporary twist. The rear of the house embraces the gradient to extend to three floors with doors opening onto large balconies, overlooking the countryside. The resulting property is spacious and light filled, offering extensive and flexible living space, including guest suites and games rooms. Consultation was provided throughout the construction phase, to ensure the house was finished to a high specification and with an interior befitting such a substantial family home.
